Then i reloaded a save to see if i could find him because i looked everywhere. Found a house with a dead corpse up top. My problem is that barney is not here nor does anything activate.

Sleepbringer 5 years ago #1. Barney rook is a resident of salem and the commander, quartermaster, sergeant at arms, and scribe of the salem volunteer militia in 2287. Upon entering salem, the player character may find barney dead at the top of his house.

The quest never triggered either. He isnt on the roof or anywhere to be found around the rook house. Born in ballymun, but growing up in glasnevin, dublin, rock attended st kevins college, ballygall.

Spoiler i found the npc barney rook to be incredible fun, and i thoroughly enjoyed. I really hope there's a mod to spawn barney rook. The quest for barney rook either makes him appear dead or not at all if the player doesn't rush to his aid or doesn't know about it.

My primary character has the bug where there's two dead mirelurks outside, the gate is open, barney is nowhere to be found, and it's impossible to get into the basement. You will then type resurrect, exit console. Barney's corpse is on the roof, invisible, with reba laying next to him.

If you can get to his dead body you can take his key and go down to his basement and get the special gun but you won't get his password to turn on the turrets and complete the quest. Or at least to spawn the basement key in a container or something. So i have gotten to salem and toured the town.

Barney may already be dead. His premature death may play out in several ways: The gate is inaccessible, so i hop over it, but to cut a long jib short i ascended to his roof and found him dead.
